Our socks are manufactured in India. There, we benefit from the Know-how of the people of organic cotton and the small cotton farmers from our orders and fair working conditions. We ensure the compliance of minimum wages, overtime compensation, freedom of Association for workers and no child labor.
Conscious Step socks are made from organic cotton and are vegan. The plants are not treated with herbicides, insecticides or pesticides.

All animals exist longer than the modern man – but for how long? Endangered species such as elephants, sharks, sloths, giraffes and many others play a supporting role in a complex ecosystem. Their rapidly declining population numbers, does not only deprive our planet of its biodiversity, but threaten the entire world. Conscious Step works together with various partners to change that.

Learning starts with reading. To ensure that children in developing countries have access to the Alphabet and to education, Room to Read – together with municipalities, organizations, and local governments - fosters literacy programs, and gender equality. Like this they reach millions of primary school students and provide support specifically for girls to complete a secondary school.

Each year, millions of animals end up in animal shelters. They all need food and health care at about 400 USD per year. No wonder that animal shelters don't manage to take care of each and every animal that is being left at their door.
